Practical Philosophy - 6

              "SHAPE"

                ------------
If it comes to hand, then it's  indeed a sweet grape,
Life too keeps bestowing fruits in many a shape ;
In utter confusion one can just stare and gape,
Isn't it pointless to make attempts to reshape  ! ?
     ------------------------------
       
               "RIPE"
               ---------
Events only tend to happen when the time is ripe,
Why is every tiger marked with many a stripe ?
Being impatient could lead to a strike or a snipe,
Then at leisure, one can wince, weep or wipe !
   -------------------------------

                "FLOAT"
                -------------
In life it is possible to fly, flutter or even float,
To the extent of obstacles not getting one's goat ;
If a ship is missed,one can get on board a boat,
It's not necessary  to be seen wearing a coat !
  ----------------------------------

                "LIGHT"
                ------------
Arguments need not ever get torqued into a fight,
If the points are placed in perspectively proper light,
And personal egos are not wedged in with might,
Finally, it's seen that no one is really wrong or right  !
   -------------------------------

                  "FATE"
                  ----------
I almost  forgot that I was born with a bald pate,
But I was blessed with an absolutely clean slate ;
This was how my journey here was started by fate,
It's good that I realised this before it became  too late.
    --------------------------------

                  "GLOW"
                  -----------
How would it be if the sun did not glow,
Or the rivers and oceans did not flow, 
For mankind would it not be a big blow,
And make all life static, as well as slow ?
    -------------------------------

              "REWIND"
              ---------------

As old age brings mobile reflexes to a grind,
One tends to often wonder and even to rewind ;
What looked sticky earlier may now seem kind,
These are gems of thought we can leave behind !
   -------------------------------

                 "OWL"
                 ----------

In youth we lapse so easily into a scowl,
And are quite ready to declare a fowl,
Even if we had fought cheek by jowl,
While on a nearby branch sits a calm owl !
